Studying with a Handicap?
If you have questions about accessibility at the university or about a disadvantage compensation for health-related limitations in your studies, please do not hesitate to contact the responsible contact persons:
- Across all faculties, the University of Bonn's representative for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses offers advice and assistance.
- At the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Dr. Thoralf Räsch is the contact person for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
- If you are already enrolled in a mathematics degree program and specific action is required, please contact the Bachelor-Master Office Mathematics. There you can submit an application for disadvantage compensation.
Central Study Advisory
The staff of the Central Study Advisory and Counseling Service of Bonn University offers advice on all questions related to studying:
- They inform and advise pupils or high school graduates who are interested in studying, and they organize information events on the study programs.
- 'They offer numerous services to help students during their studies. These include workshops on topics such as time management and exam preparation, as well as psychological counseling and assistance with career orientation after graduation.
- For students who are no longer sure whether a course of study is the right choice for them, they show alternatives in consultation hours on the topic of doubts about studying.
