Examination Dates of Lecture Course Modules - Summer Semester
There are two examination dates per semester for each lecture module. The first takes place at the end of the lecture period, the second at the end of the semester. In the overviews linked below you will find - the two fixed examination dates for all written examinations and, in due course - the examination periods notified by the lecturers for the oral examinations. Training in Subject-Specific Literature Research
The Training in Subject-Specific Literature Research is a coursework for the Bachelor's thesis seminar. The trainings take place on a Monday or a Wednesday from 16.15 to 18.00 hrs. You can register using the online form linked below. Next opportunity: Wednesday September 18th, 2024. More dates in the winter semester 2024/25 will follow.

Examination Registration for Seminars and Practical Trainings
Registration for seminars takes place in two steps: 1) Binding registration with the lecturer with signature and topic assignment; 2) Technical registration via BASIS during the registration period. The practical trainings (Practical Teaching Course and Programming Labs) are also registered via BASIS. For the Practical Teaching Course, please select the lecturer of the lecture you are tutoring as the examiner. Registration for an External Internship is not bound to the deadline, please use the form.

Introductory Talk for New Bachelor's Students
We invite all first-year students to an orientation event in the week before the start of lectures to introduce them to the course. You will receive an overview of the course of study and important information from the Bachelor's/Master's Office on the procedures involved in studying mathematics. The mathematics student council also offers valuable tips and information. We look forward to seeing you there!

Registration for the Bachelor's Examination
After enrolling in the Bachelor's study program Mathematik you must register once for the Bachelor's examination at the Bachelor-Master Office Mathematics. Please note - which documents you need to bring, and - our office hours.

Start of Exam Registration for Lecture Courses
You can register online via BASIS. You only have to register for the exam, then the exercise will be registered automatically (overnight) if there is an exercise for the lecture and you have not yet passed it. Your registration was successful when you receive a confirmation e-mail. Please check your registrations in BASIS under "Info about registered exams". The end of the registration period depends on the type of examination and the examination date of the lecture. The registration period ends - two weeks before the examination date for written examinations - two weeks before the end of the lecture period for oral examinations. Please inform yourself in good time about the form and date of the lecture examinations for which you wish to register. It is no longer possible to register after the respective deadline!

Dies academicus
Every semester, the University of Bonn organizes the Dies academicus, on which it offers a program from all faculties and departments for all interested parties. Inaugural lectures also take place on this day. You will find the program on the Studium Universale website in due course.
