Hausdorff School for Mathematics

The Hausdorff School for Mathematics (HSM) is the central institution serving all early-career researchers in mathematics at Bonn: from doctoral students to advanced postdocs. HSM provides an excellent learning and working environment for young mathematicians and supports them in pursuing their individual research projects and advancing on their individual career paths. To achieve this we create a vibrant community of early-career researchers that thrives through vigorous exchange of ideas and a deeply collaborative culture. HSM connects a critical mass of talent and establishes an intellectual cooperative space that allows our early-career researchers to actively contribute to the mathematical research at HCM and to profit from the HCM structures such as (Junior) Trimester Programs at HIM and numerous activities within the RAs and IRUs.
