June 28 - July 2, 2021
All lectures will be held online
Organizers: Begoña Barrios Barrera (Universidad de La Laguna, Spain), María Medina de la Torre (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain)
Description: Trending tools for the solvability of nonlocal elliptic and parabolic equations is framed into the field of Partial Differential Equations (PDE´s), in particular in the analysis of of elliptic and parabolic equatations. This theory has experimented great advances in the last decades, not only due to the increasing number of applications in other areas of mathematics and applied sciences (like physics or economics), but also because of the recent and continuous development of powerful analytic tools what have opened new lines of research.
This summer school aim is to focus on some of these trending lines, covering three different ones: Conformal geometry tools, concentration methods and free boundary problems
Key Speakers: The following speakers will give a lecture series:
- Francesca Da Lio (ETH Zürich, Switzerland)
- Monica Musso (University of Bath, UK)
- Xavier Ros-Oton, (Universität Zürich, Switzerland)
Additional Speakers:
- Eleonora Cinti (Università di Bologna, Italy)
- Benedetta Noris (Politecnico di Milano, Italy)
- Pablo Ochoa (Universidad de Cuyo, Argentina)
