Lawk Mineh joined the HCM as a postdoctoral researcher in October 2024. He is a postdoctoral researcher working under the supervision of Prof. Giles Gardam. He completed his PhD in 2024 at the University of Southampton, UK. His research is in geometric group theory, with a focus on exploring the relationship between algebraic and geometric properties of subgroups in nonpositively curved groups. He is also interested in the Kaplansky conjectures on group rings.
