Prior to that, he completed his PhD at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Prof. Kevin McGerty. His research is in Geometric Representation Theory where he is particularly interested in affine Hecke algebras, perverse sheaves and categorification as well as applications of these topics to the local Langlands correspondence.
