Alexis Prévost completed his PhD in 2020 at the University of Cologne. Alexis was then a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge until 2022, and then at the University of Geneva until February 2025. Since March, he is an Emmy Noether independent junior research group leader in the Institute for Applied Mathematics.
His research is in probability theory, with a focus on the study of phase transitions for correlated models. This includes for instance percolation for random interlacements and the Gaussian free field, as well as application to the study of random walks on graphs.
