Junior Trimester Program: "Optimal Transportation"

January 5 - April 24, 2015

Description: The Junior Hausdorff Trimester Program gave young mathematicians (postdocs, junior faculty) the opportunity to carry out collaborative research on Optimal Transportation.

The main focus was on the following research topics:

  • Global and local properties of metric measure spaces with synthetic Ricci curvature bounds
  • Optimal transport and stochastic analysis
  • Scale separation of gradient flows in continuous and discrete setting

Associated Events:

  • Workshop: Analytic approaches to scaling limits for random system
