Outreach
The Hausdorff Research Institute for Mathematics organizes two series of events for the general public interested in mathematics. The evening events in the beautiful rooms of the HIM building are very popular and always fully booked.
Mathematical Salon
The Mathematical Salon is an evening event in the beautiful HIM building that continues the tradition of the Salona of the 18th and 19th centuries. It consists of a mathematical lecture accompanied by two musical performances. The lectures are also aimed at mathematical laypersons.
Public Lectures from Guest Researchers at HIM
A guest researcher from a trimester program at HIM holds a public mathematical lecture, which in a broader sense has to do with her/his research or the topic of the trimester program. The lectures are also aimed at mathematical laypersons. The lectures are streamed and recorded.
