Criteria for the Evaluation
I. Criteria for the interim evaluation
- Excellent achievements in research, which are among the top in international comparison, as well as
- very good achievements in academic teaching that go significantly beyond ordinary achievements
or
- excellent achievements in academic teaching, as well
- very good achievements in research, which go significantly beyond ordinary achievements in an international comparison.
II. Criteria for the final evaluation
- excellent achievements in research, which are among the top in international comparison, as well as
- very good achievements in academic teaching that go significantly beyond ordinary achievements
or
- excellent achievements in academic teaching, as well
- very good achievements in research, which go significantly beyond ordinary achievements in an international comparison
and
- active participation in committee work of the university and the entire academic community.
Specification of the criteria
I. Criteria for research
- publications in important international journals
- invitations to talks and lectures
- (co-)organization of international conferences
- awards
- international visibility and networking
II. Criteria for academic teaching
- quality and breadth of teaching taking into account the type (lecture, seminar), level (BSc, MSc, PhD) and the use of English language/internationality
- classes on current research topics
- supervisor of bachelor and master theses, potentially PhD theses
- design of teaching materials, writing of books and lecture notes
III. Criteria for administration
- participation in academic administration
- participation in university committees
