Together with the other Clusters of Excellence in Bonn, we organize "Excellence Slams" in the arcade courtyard of the main university building.. These are science slams in which each cluster is represented by a scientist from its main subject area. Their aim is to present research to a broad audience in a generally understandable and humorous way. At the end, the audience votes - and the most popular slam wins. We have already held two "Excellence Slams". We have also held the first "Math Slam" in Germany. Further editions and formats are planned.
The next "Excellence Slam" is planned for summer 2025.
