In March 2020, we launched the (online) Bonn Math Night. At the time, it was an ad-hoc replacement for the Bonn Science Night, which had to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it has since become an established and popular brand in mathematical science communication. We organize the math night with changing academic partners (Mathematik Münster, MATH+, MPI MiS Leipzig,...). In illustrative workshops for children and young people (but also interested adults!) and lectures "for everyone", we want to show how diverse and fascinating mathematics is. In addition, exciting topics on applications and developments in mathematics are discussed in panel discussions. In some cases, the Bonn Math Night now also takes place in hybrid mode. Participation is always free of charge.
